The paradigm of nature conservation and ecotourism; a small country between two continents and between two oceans, with greater biological diversity than all of Europe and full of contrasts in a territory the size of Extremadura. The country "without artificial ingredients" and "pure life". The country of sea turtles. Here we conduct two courses related to sea turtles, one during the leatherback nesting season in the Caribbean, and the other during the time of birth of those same turtles. The first, which is during Holy Week, which usually coincides with the peak of leatherback nesting in the Costa Rican Caribbean, we call the Study and Conservation of Sea Turtles: Nesting and Feeding, because we complete the course with work in turtle feeding areas such as the Pacific green and hawksbill. The second course is in summer, in mid-July, which coincides with the maximum number of leatherback sea turtle hatchlings in the Costa Rican Caribbean and we call it Study and Conservation of Sea Turtles: Hatchlings and Arrivals, because the course is completed with work on the Pacific beach of Ostional, where there are the largest arrivals of turtles in the world (although this does not ensure that our course will coincide with an arrival, in July there are usually two, so the possibilities are great). Both courses give the possibility of staying as research assistants or volunteers in the different projects where they work.
